Great guest tavern with friendly service and a charming cook. Perfect steaks, home-style cooking and Austrian delicacies. Recommendable!

A quaint restaurant where you can get a really tasty rump steak fried exactly as you order it. The side dishes are fresh and tasty, salad not out of the glass and fried potatoes and onions freshly made. In addition, friendly wait staff, who notice when the drink is empty. And all of this is available for a price / performance ratio that you don't find too often anymore. All in all, you can spend a cozy evening here with friends, enjoying delicious food and drinks.

The food is just great. Martin, the landlord and the cook, is brilliant.

We had a very nice evening with our friends. And the goose with the side dishes was delicious again.

I was positively surprised by the food, because the ambience is very "outdated". Very delicious, big steak fried on the spot with delicious side dish for a very fair price.

Annoyed and unfriendly! After we were sent away three times in one summer, that's it! After entering the restaurant kuz after 19 clock sent us the landlady away, with the words "better go somewhere else, that makes no sense. It takes too long!" And although in the dining room still places were free. Completely annoyed by new guests. Incredible! Even before, the landlady often with bad unfriendliness on, not to us, but at neighboring tables. Also friend of us often complain. After the third "you have not wanted here since today" that was for us forever. Food is good but the whims of the landlady do not go! There are other delicious restaurants in Mühlheim that are happy to spend money there.

Quaint taverns ..... an inn as it used to be. Food is very good, German, bourgeois cuisine. The service is an original. Here you dive into the past. But very well visited .... from young to old. The tavern is worth a visit.

Incredible, after almost 30 years I was back, and it is still the same owner and the food (Cordon Bleu) still a hammer. Just a cool pub!

Good food, great ambience, if you like it old school! I love to go there, the food is always perfect and delicious, and Austrian specialties are also served.

Best Steak ever?

Great rum steaks - excellent!

Mrs. Cerny (wife of the owner) served us very friendly and also quickly! As a "kitchen greeting" there was first homemade garlic cream with a basket of bread; delicious! We then ordered the "Basaltkopp Schnitzel" (gratinated with hand cheese), with fried potatoes and the baked potato (see pictures). Both dishes were of perfect quality and also very tasty! Mr. Cerny (owner and cook of the restaurant) came to our table to inquire whether everything was to our satisfaction; very attentive! We would like to come again!

We were served rotten meat. Flocks of blowflies gathered at the table. The steaks were taken away from the service and replaced with new ones. But the whole evening was over.
